Once in the lobby and in the protection of her friend, Lori was able to speak a little and wanted to know where Mark was. Grace made her sit down on one of the benches and sent someone else up to the projector room to finish the movie. Lori was stunned and her speech came in little starts, as she tried to explain what happened. Grace patted her hand and told her to just sit quietly for a bit and that she would be back. Lori jumped up and grabbed Grace’s arm and in a choked tight voice said, “Don’t leave me!” Grace told someone to get a wet towel from the snack bar and bring it to her. Grace wiped Lori’s face and neck with the towel trying to help her calm down. After a bit, Lori finally did calm down enough to talk. The movie had ended and the audience had gone home. Grace told Lori that she was going to clean up and for Lori to wait for her. This time Lori did not want to enter the auditorium and went out to her car to wait for Grace.
